Some of you have received the article I sent today about the new rape law that has been proclaimed by Karzai in Afghanistan. I urge you to read the article on the Independent web site (link below) and then write to your newspapers, your MPs and Senators, to anyone who will listen...Send copies of the article to everyone you know, especially to the politicians.

Women are suffering, dying in Afghanistan and no one is hearing their cries. We must speak out for them and get our governments to act on their behalf...and get all foreign troops out...NOW.
